Introduction

Burt Family Butchers is one of the south east’s leading catering butchers and wholesale meat suppliers and from their base on the Sussex coast have been supplying quality wholesale meats for over 25 years. They have a loyal customer base based on the meat offered is a “cut above the competition.”

Burt’s customers come not only from the wholesale and catering butcher trade but from hotels, restaurants and other caterers, including those in the public sector.

Project

ISD were asked to attend site and look at a new cold room facility that David Burt, the client had leased in line with growing the family business.  ISD attended site and helped the client to  arrange a suite of cold rooms and cutting rooms to provide the most efficient and productive work flow while maintaining industry standards.

ISD also had to work closely with the client’s Mezzanine contractor so that our design and their design worked well together and did not cause any build issues, this was completed quickly and efficiently allowing the works to be undertaken with no issues occurring.
